Porsche 911 GT by DottGonzo Porsche 911 GT by DottGonzo
New version of the coloured 911.

Entirely done in Photoshop CS3, based on a reference picture found in the web.
Probably some minor ritouches will follow.

I couldn't really find a good background for my 911. Suggestions?
Any other comment or critic are as always welcome.

one awesome vexel. :)

I'd say the carbonfibre pattern is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to huge. ;)

Eh eh! Thank you so much!
I made the carbon fibre by following a tutorial by dangeruss.

I know. A pretty good tutorial, but still.. the pattern is big. ;D

Keep it up. :D

I know, I know. It's because I don't have a real carbon fibre's bonnet. Neither a real car in fact... ;)
Anyway: I will fix it as soon as I can.
Thanks!

The rims look more realistic than the car. Nice overall.

Thanks for the comment!
You're perfectly right.
I'll try to have the same realistic effect on the body too in my next works.
I think, like others says, that the problem is relates to the excessive implementing of black lines in the chassis.

looks good! Your coloring is really good, especially for your first one. My main suggestion is that you're using too many black lines. The only place that you need to use black lines is in the outline (~4px) and for the seams between body panels...and those could be any shade/tint based on reflections and shadows : )

keep up the good works!

Thank you for your suggestion! I'll try what you described in my next work.
Hope it will take me less time than this one ...

some outlines are too strong. I would like to see it without the lines.

Thank you for the comment.
And yes, that's what I would probably do on next step...
Stay tuned :)
